- The conveyors were all made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance due to the process.
- Be capable to have a carrying capacity of a minimum of 180 tph.
- Incorporate washdown features in the head stations for control of contamination and buildup of material due to the characteristics of the product during the malting process.

Aerobelt Solution
Aerobelt Australia were able to provide stainless steel conveyors to the same design as the new plant design was almost identical to the WA facility. The head stations incorporate washdown chutes and spray systems to clean the conveyors.
Some conveyors in the new plant are now fully covered, saving the capital costs of fully enclosed galleries. This steelwork design was changed to an open construction. The new design rating was 180 tph, but all the conveyor speeds and drive powers remained as the WA facility. Additional capacity is available should it be required, up to 300 tph capacity.
