Aerobelt Solution
Aerobelt Australia provided a 200tph system to take the rice to and from the shed. The light weight of the conveyors reduced the supporting steelwork required, resulting in a lower capital cost of installation. The complete enclosure of the belts ensured no contamination of the product during delivery. The absence of carry rollers improved safety and results in lower noise levels. Ricegrowers’ decision to purchase Aerobelt conveyors was influenced by the performance and minimal maintenance required on a similar belt installed at its Griffith terminal in March 1997.
